MEET THE COACH:
​
Coach Rodrigo is a USAW Certified Coach and NASM Personal Trainer with 5+ years of coaching and 10 years as an athlete. He specializes in youth strength, Olympic weightlifting fundamentals, and athletic development, with a background in football, rugby, Olympic lifting, and CrossFit.​​​​​​​​​​​

What is included in the Weightlifting Fundamentals Course?
The course teaches the technique of the snatch, clean and jerk, back squat and front squat as wells an introduction to understanding and reading your programs. .

How many sessions does the course include?
The course consists of 16 comprehensive session lasting approximately 1 - 1.5 hours.

When is the course held?
The course is offered twice a week on scheduled days. Please contact us for current dates and times.

Who is this course suitable for?
This course is ideal for new athletes, those who have never done the Olympic lifts or those that want to learn so they can use the lifts in their own program.

Do I need prior experience to join?
No prior experience is required. The course is designed to start from the basics and progress at a safe, controlled pace.

What should I bring to the session?
Bring athletic clothing, weightlifting shoes if available, water, and a positive attitude. All necessary equipment will be provided.

What happens if I miss my scheduled session?
If you miss your session without a valid emergency contact made at least 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit that spot. Additional classes may be necessary to complete your training.

Who will be coaching me?
The course is led by highly experienced, USA Weightlifting-certified coaches with decades of coaching and competitive experience.

What do I do after completing the course?
Once you've completed the Fundamentals Course, you’re ready to join our team and follow our beginner weightlifting program—training 3-5 days a week. Alternatively, you can use your new skills to pursue other fitness goals or activities.

Absolutely. All coaching emphasizes proper technique and safety. Equipment is sanitized regularly, and coaches supervise all lifts
